D'Lux Without Cause (Miranda)
Miranda was on "B" Ward at the local "kill-shelter".
"B" Ward is the special room for dogs that will not
be available for the public to adopt. She had a litter
of puppies & when one of the employees tried to
reach into her cage, she tried to protect her
puppies. So she was labeled as a biter & put on 10
days quarantine.
This was not good for the puppies because it meant
they were being kept in an environment where they
were likely to contract disease, worms, fleas, ticks
.....
Because her confinement meant almost certain
death to the puppies, the shelter manager agreed
to let us foster her & keep her in quarantine.
Since she hadn't be read her Miranda rights before
being imprisoned in solitary, she got her name.

But it was all worth it because Miranda, the mommy
who protected her puppies & was going to lose her
life over it, has a new home of her very own.
