DLux Pets Adoptions & Sanctuary
About 12 years ago, our group started its existence as a Shetland Sheepdog rescue
for South Florida. As time went on, there were other dogs that needed help. So we
expanded our scope to include dogs of other breeds, but we still consider ourselves
to be
Sheltie Rescue.

In April of 2003, we started taking in cats as well as dogs. Over the years, we've
found homes for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and other small critters that need our
help.  Effective June of 2006, we will no longer be taking in cats. Instead, we will
be continuing to work with dogs only & hope to find more homes for the homeless
ones that need our help.

Our pets are shown for adoption
  • here on our website AND
  • They are on the Petfinder.com website.

To better serve you & to better insure that our pets are placed in the right home,
we will show our pets by appointment only. You may contact us at (754) 204 1947 or
through this website to make an appointment.

Our funding comes from donations, on-line raffles and on-line auctions and through
sales of
books, pet supplies, & other items that can be seen at the Store.

Without your donations and your volunteer efforts, we could not continue to help
the animals.  If you have a few hours available during the week, you, too could help
save a life. Volunteer hours qualify for Florida students to meet their community
service hour requirements.
If you are able to help out, please contact us at VolunteerInfo@gmail.com

Again, thank you for supporting us & for helping us to help them.
